5 months and getting so big!

5 months

My baby has reached 5 months old recently and he is just getting so big. As I write this he is showing me the power of his voice by screaming at the top of his lungs. He loves to scream and hear his own voice. He can roll over so quickly now. Only from back to front, he hasn't quite figured out the front to back yet. He wants to crawl but hasn't figured out how to put it all together yet, thank goodness. We definitely haven't baby proofed the apartment yet. His biggest milestone has been that he has his first 2 teeth. The first bottom tooth broke through a week after his 4 month appointment, and 2 weeks after that the second bottom tooth joined it. Teething wasn't horrible, but it wasn't pleasant either. I'm just happy it didn't affect his sleeping. He sleeps so well, usually from 9:30pm to 6:30 am. That has been the best thing.

Henri has started on baby foods now. He loves applesauce, carrots, and pumpkin so far. He's enjoying sitting in his bumbo on our table and eating dinner with us. So far he hasn't pushed his food away and tried to get ours yet. I'm sure soon enough we will have that problem. He's just happy eating with us right now.

Henri also had his first european adventure with us. We all went to Amsterdam for a long weekend. Henri did great on both flights and walking around town. He slept most of the time, which worked out well for us. It rained the entire trip so we were able to keep him covered up and dry. We were not so lucky.

I'm not sure how long he is but we did weigh him the other day and he was 17.6 lbs. My boy is getting big and my arms are getting stronger =)
