Baby Henri is 1 Month

Well my baby has already hit the 1 month mark before I could blink. When your hardly sleeping, continuously nursing, and recovering yourself, the days seem to fly by somehow. Learning to be parents these last four weeks has been such an eye opening experience. Henri has taught us so much when it comes to patience and quick reflexes. You have to be patient when he's crying at 3 am and  have no idea why. I also have to have quick reflexes when dodging his pee stream in the air at 2 in the morning. The poor wall got the brunt of it. This past week Henri reminded me that just having him in a onesie is not good enough. You must put pants on him. Otherwise, when he poops you take the gamble of it coming out the sides on you. I lost that bet. (note: I only had the onesie on because we were taking his picture, normally he has pants on too)

Tummy time
All kidding aside life with Henri has been very sweet. We love watching him and playing with him. The minute Adam gets home and starts to play with Henri, he either poops his pants or throw's up on Adam. So for my entertainment alone he is awesome. He has the sweetest disposition and is overall a great baby. He cries mostly when he's hungry or a little overstimulated. Otherwise he is usually content. We have gotten a smile out of him that wasn't gas. He and I make faces all the time at one another and finally I smiled, then he smiled back at me. It was a great moment. Knock on wood, his sleeping has gotten better. We might get 4 or 5 hours out of him during the night now.
Who can't love this sweet face!

Henri still doesn't like baths, being naked, or having his diaper changed. He loves to eat and snuggle up afterwards. He had his first visitors, his Aunt Amanda and Uncle Scott and he loves them both so much. Aunt Amanda has a special touch and has gotten him to calm down and go to sleep on more than one occasion.
I still hate bath time

He had his first Pediatrician appointment this week and he has grown 2 inches and gained 2.5lbs. He is growing well and putting on a good amount of weight. I can't ask for a healthier baby.

Adam and I are so happy with the newest addition to our family. He constantly makes us laugh, especially when we see each other's personality coming out. Or when he farts, it's hilarious! He is a wonderful adventure that we are loving to be apart of.
